so i've decided maybe i should make my webpage somewhat less useless by posting the newsposts that nobody will ever read on livejournal. right now i have to copy+paste it manually, i might make a fancy script to do it for me. but i figure that if people actually read my news, it might actually motivate me keep this site updated.

7/28/05: Monmouth is hot and boring.

On the off-chance that somebody cares or is actually looking at this website, I'm updating. Just to make this page slightly more relevant, I think I'm going to get in the habit of posting on livejournal whenever I update. Maybe post a link to this site, or copy this newspost. I don't know. Soon enough I should be getting a copy of early Beethoven sonatas and sonatinas in chromatic notation. When that happens, I'm going to take some pictures of it and upload the madness here. Recently, I've been thinking about porting my colorkbd program to OS/X in the form of a screensaver. That would take a lot of work, and I'm also trying to distance myself from computers, so it might not ever happen. But who knows? It would be extremely useful in that form. Now it's time to go do something more fun than managing a useless webpage.

i think i've posted some of them before... but all the same, there's new stuff. check out the chromatic keyboard! it's finally done, and it's pretty awesome. i know you want one. at some point in the future, i'm going to look into what needs to be done to make an upright with this setup. somebody respond to this post so i know that not everybody has me filtered out! i'm so lonely... :(

i hate it when i enter a practice room and i'm actually efficient. sure, i'll get a lot done, but when i feel satisfied for the day it turns out i've only practiced for about 40 minutes. if i don't reach two hours daily, my piano teacher will eat me and all my loved ones! it's scary, i've seen her do it. she's like tony robbins.

on an extremely bogus tangent, i still really like the following things:
1) my new apartment. living alone is teh bezt thing evar!
2) piano sun icon. firefly + piano = jolly good happy super fun ball.

i'm tired and my schoolwork needs to finish itself somehow. if anybody knows what that magic number in the movie PI is i'd like to know... i'm thinking i might be able to write it on all of my assignments so they become self-aware and therefore finish themselves.

hooray, looks like i get to move out as soon as monday. unless there's some issue with my application, which there'd better not be because if there is, i'm going to nuke this town into oblivion. but it's a studio apartment which means i'll be living ALONE (woohoo!) and i'll have to get some furniture and stuff. dealing with no roommate will be so much fun, i think i'm going to walk around naked all day. all night, too. but it's upstairs with a small deck balcony thing, that'll be awesome. supposedly it gets good lighting, too. i'm ever-so-excited!

you know what sucks? not being able to go home because your life with your roommate is way too shitty. can't wait to move! (the gears are in motion...)
